  • Presence of rust spots on flashing
  • Shingles that have buckles, curls, or blisters
  • Shingles that are broken or missing
  • Cracks and tears in rubber boots surrounding vent pipes
  • Presence of moss and/or lichen. This can suggest roof decay.
